Dr Samir has done his MBBS from VSS Medical college,Odisha. He has served at various Government Hospitals for long time after completing graduation.He did his DNB Family Medicine from Max Super Speciality Hospital,Saket,New Delhi followed by Senior Residency in Metabolic and Bariatric Medicine.He has done advanced PG course in Diabetes from American Diabetes Association and other certificate courses in Diabetes from Public health foundation of India,Harvard Medical school, Cleveland clinic U.S.A.
He has 20 years of vast experience in managing all types of patients(indoor and outdoor) from all subspecialities of Medicine including Infectious diseases, Pulmonology,Cardiology Rheumatology, Gastroenterology and Nephrology.
He has special expertise in managing Obesity,Thyroid disorders,Dyslipidemia,Hypertension,Uric acid disorders and all types of Diabetes like Type 1,Type 2,Gestational,MODY,LADA, and Iatrogenic.
His aim in life is not only to treat diseases but to educate and support the community in fighting against lifestyle disorders.
